There are a number of natural disasters that bring into sharp focus the need for a survival kit, but one thing to remember is that having just a single survival bag somewhere in the home might not be enough in the event of a major disaster. While there are a number of differently sized survival kits that are available for various circumstances, it can't hurt to have more than one available at a time just in case. If a disaster occurs while a family has company over, an extra survival kit could be a lifesaver if there are many people in the house who can't otherwise leave.
