Title:

Biomechanics of Pitching Baseballs

Description:

There has been some intriguing research regarding the biomechanics of pitching a baseball and there are actually a significant number of phases involved in the pitching of a baseball which impact the pitching velocity, among other issues. The beginning of a pitch is called a windup and the end of a pitch is called the follow through. Between those aspects, however, there are many more standard parts to a pitch, each which only last a fraction of a second. Not only is there the early cocking and late cocking, but there is also the early acceleration and late acceleration.
